NAIROBI, Kenya – In a hyper-dynamic and competitive world driven by rapid technological evolution and global connectivity, a standard classroom education is no longer enough.

Today’s young scholars face an interconnected global landscape where academic distinctions must be coupled with adaptive skills, cultural literacy, and real-world foresight.

To truly prepare students for future success, progressive educational institutions must go the extra mile, actively building bridges between secondary education and global higher-education pathways to shape the leaders of tomorrow.

Embodying this commitment, Crawford International School hosted its highly anticipated annual Universities Fair on Friday, 25 September 2026.

Crawford International School grounds becomes center of attraction

Organised at the school’s campus in Tatu City, Nairobi, in a strategic partnership with global student placement agency Uniserv Education, the massive showcase served as a vital launchpad for students eyeing international higher education.

The sprawling event transformed the campus grounds into a lively, interactive exhibition space under rows of white pavilions.

It brought together more than 104 prestigious universities spanning major educational hubs across Europe, the United States, Asia, and Australia.

The fair was not limited to Crawford’s own learners; it acted as a community lighthouse, welcoming over 700 students and parents from 13 different international and national schools across the region.

Participating students explore diverse academic profiles

For the Senior School and A-Level participants, the fair provided a rare opportunity to bypass general web search algorithms and engage in unmediated, direct face-to-face dialogue with official university representatives.

Throughout the day, students explored diverse academic profiles including broad university programs, specific subject prerequisites, and alternative joint-degree courses such as integrated law and international relations combinations.

Representatives also provided clear pathways to secure financial aid, merit-based entry grants, and partial-to-full academic scholarships.

Beyond academics, the exhibition offered comprehensive breakdowns of international student visa application processes, regional entry compliance rules, and campus accommodation options.

Students also gathered details on unique institutional focus areas like cultural immersion tracks, industrial internship tie-ups, and student exchange options.

Inside Crawford International School’s efforts to empower it’s graduates

The active presence of parents alongside their children added a collaborative layer to the event, smoothing out complex conversations about international relocation, tuition requirements, and long-term career planning.

Events of this scale align seamlessly with Crawford International School’s overarching academic mandate: ensuring that “the world does not reward knowledge alone; it rewards what young people can do with that knowledge”.

By cultivating these direct institutional lines early on, Crawford continues to see its graduates successfully secure placement offers across more than 120 premier international university destinations worldwide.

The execution of the 2026 fair further highlights how deliberate, extra-mile institutional planning can demystify international boundaries, allowing local scholars to confidently envision their future steps on the global stage.
